ABOUT THE JOB
As a System Engineer, you will be part of a
- functional team that enhances networking engineering skills and capabilities across TUI.
Provide technical leadership within your team, shape engineering processes and practices, coach and develop team members, promote a
- first ethos, and champion continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Contribute to delivering technical solutions within a Product team to meet business needs, ensuring successful delivery within time and quality targets.
Maintain
- quality work, including proper documentation and security considerations.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring service quality across different nations.
- Providing services according to defined standards and customer agreements.
- Planning, deploying, and testing system updates, patches, and changes; customizing systems with customers or developers.
- Supporting
- specific tasks during application migrations. - Analyzing system performance and advising on optimization and
- efficiency. - Developing backup and recovery strategies.
- Implementing procedures and standards, monitoring compliance with security and privacy policies.
- Automating operational tasks.
- Maintaining
-
- date documentation of network components and connections. - Administering network systems, supporting troubleshooting and
- level support.
ABOUT YOU
- Extensive experience with network technologies: WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, 802. 1X, Firewalls, Load Balancing, Routing, Switching, VPN, SD-WAN.
- Openness to new technologies and solutions.
- Experience with vendors like Cisco, F5, Checkpoint, Palo Alto.
- Knowledge of protocols/services such as DNS, DHCP, SSL.
- Practical IT service management (ITIL) experience and familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in international teams.
- Quick learner with the capacity to understand complex contexts.
- Experience troubleshooting in
- national network environments. - Willingness to be on call (24/7) and travel as needed.
- High initiative and strong sense of responsibility.
