Position: System Engineer – Privileged Access Management (PAM/PAW)

Location: Remote from Portugal

About the Project

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer with strong expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM/PAW) to join a
- impact infrastructure project for a leading German company.

Senior profile who can quickly integrate into the team, support system configurations, and take responsibility for critical components of the PAM environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, and operation of the Privileged Access Management (PAM/PAW) systems.

• Provide
- on expertise with VMware infrastructure.

• Manage and maintain Beyond
Trust PAM solutions (highly preferred).

• Work with Windows Server 2025 environments, ensuring stability, integration, and security.

• Collaborate with other engineers on Windows-based systems, each with different focus areas (PAM, PKI, etc. ).

• Contribute to monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across PAM-related systems.

• Participate in On
Call support rotation (to be clarified with candidates from the start).

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of VMware (essential).

• Hands-on experience with Beyond
Trust PAM (strongly preferred).

• Proven experience with Windows Server 2025 in enterprise environments.

• Solid background as a System Engineer (minimum intermediate level, ideally senior).

Desirable Skills (not mandatory, but valuable)

Experience with the following technologies is a strong plus:

• Checkmk, Qualys, Splunk • Active Directory, Infoblox, ZScaler, WSUS

• MFA (TOTP Beyond
Trust) and related security solutions

Call support will be part of the role, with details to be discussed during the recruitment process.

The PAM/PAW engineer will work closely with other system engineers who focus on complementary areas (e. g. , PKI).
