Join our team as a System Engineer (Hybrid – Aveiro)!

What You’ll Do:

• Assess
  - premises environments using Azure Migrate and define tailored strategies (rehosting,
  - platforming, refactoring).
• Plan and execute migrations from
  - premises infrastructures to cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, VMware).
• Deploy and manage Azure networking components such as NSGs, Firewalls, and VNETs, maintaining security and performance standards.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure virtual machines, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage tools like Azure Migrate and VMware HCX to ensure seamless cloud transitions.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to minimize downtime and ensure maximum performance.
• Provide expert guidance to clients, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments.
• Monitor systems and implement best practices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and contribute to the improvement of infrastructure processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
• Strong proficiency in VMware, Hyper‑V, Windows Server, Unix, Active Directory, Horizon/Citrix, and networking.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration strategies.
• Working knowledge of Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways) and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Familiarity with cloud migration tools like Azure Migrate and VMware HCX.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset and a strong team player.
