Wippie to work on the specification, verification, validation, and qualification (SEV&V) of
- edge solutions for our customers.
As part of the Air Mobility Solutions (AMS) SEV&V team, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the specifications, testing, and qualification of Top
Sky and AMHS solutions. This role offers the unique chance to be involved in the complete cycle of concept definition, system design, system integration, and qualification. You will work in a technically challenging domain, integrating complex air traffic control and information management systems with sensors, incorporating advanced solutions in information processing, management, user interaction, and display of sensor’s information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with stakeholders to identify what they want to accomplish with a system, translating these customer needs into engineering requirements.
- Create infrastructure engineering definition/drawings.
- Liaise with project management and Design Authorities to ensure that all Top
Sky deployment work adheres to timelines and standards. - Provide operational/functional support to
- users and internal engineering teams, resolving technical inquiries. - Develop and write test cases to verify system requirements.
- Track and validate Problem Change Report (PCR) corrective actions, coordinating closely with various engineering disciplines and teams.
- Perform validation tests in coordination with customer representatives during critical project milestones such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at the program’s relevant site.
- Provide detailed reporting of test results and effectively brief both the Management Team and external Customers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide services for delivery outcomes and with project delivery teams to support project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Mid-Level Seniority with a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles/functions.
- Degree in Engineering (e. g. , Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications) or Air Traffic Control.
- Proven experience in system engineering, verification, and validation of complex systems.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation and execution of tests, including documentation, testing, problem analysis, and defect reports.
- Written and Oral proficiency in English is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and
- oriented environments.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) domain is a significant advantage.
Working Model & Other Requirements:
- This position follows a hybrid working model ("3 days @ Office + 2 @ Home").
- During the first 3 months, it will be "full office" (5 days at the office) for training and team integration purposes.
- Please note there is a tendency in the medium term to move towards a 'full Office' model (currently located in Quinta da Fonte, Paço de Arcos).
- Availability to travel abroad for periods up to 1 month, occurring approximately every 2 or 3 months.
