Senior Systems Administrator (Hybrid - Lisbon)

Randstad Digital is recruiting an experienced Systems Administrator (Linux, Windows) for direct integration into a reference client in Lisbon. We are looking for an infrastructure specialist with a strong focus on system administration, virtualization, and security in a hybrid environment.

Regime: Hybrid (3 days
- site, 2 days remote).

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Hybrid Systems Administration: Manage server environments, both physical and virtual, across public and private clouds.
• Operating Systems & Infrastructure: Administer various operating systems (Linux, Windows) and essential infrastructure services (AD, DNS, GPOs), including patching, updates, backups, and monitoring.
• Virtualization: Manage and optimize VMWare platforms (v
  Sphere ESXi, v
  Center) and Microsoft Hyper‑V. Knowledge of Omnissa Horizon 8 is a plus.
• Scripting and Automation: Automate repetitive tasks via scripting (Python, Bash, Power
  Shell, or Ansible).
• Security: Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining security policies, patches, and updates. Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM is a differential.
• Monitoring and Documentation: Evaluate system performance, ensure system reliability and efficiency, and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and changes.
• Minimum Experience: 5 years of proven experience in similar roles.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or similar fields.
• Proven Experience: Administering Microsoft and Linux systems, and virtualization solutions (VMware and Hyper‑V).
• Cloud: Proven experience in Cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Microsoft Defender).
• Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, Power
  Shell, or Ansible.
• Security Practices: Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in Microsoft and Linux systems.
• Methodology: Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Language: Good knowledge of the English language.
• Differential: Certifications in the mentioned technologies (preferred).
