Leica Portugal is looking for a Talent Development Specialist for its facilities in V. N. Famalicão.

About the role

Reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing people development processes and programs, optimizing people and workforce management, employee engagement and retention. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Job descriptions, job evaluations and competency profiles

• Competency-based performance appraisal

• Identification of critical positions and
- potential employees

• Succession planning based on talent mapping using proven methodologies, such as the 9 Box Grid

• Development and monitoring of Individual Development Plans

• Collaboration with HR and other departments on
- oriented projects

Profile

• Strong experience in talent development processes (minimum 3 to 5 years) (eliminatory), preferably in consulting

• High degree education in Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology

• Assessment skills: Experience with performance and potential assessment methodologies (e. g. , 9 Box; Colour Map) (eliminatory)

• Strong communication skills: Ability to present information effectively, argue and interact with diverse audiences

• Ability to manage multiple projects

• Good analytical and
- solving skills

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Ability to work in a team

• Experience as a functional user of HR development ERP applications (Success Factors will be valued)
