As a Tariff & Customs Classification Specialist, you’ll help shape the future of global trade compliance within our worldwide operations. Responsibilities

• Classify a wide range of products, from raw materials and components to finished goods and spare parts, according to national and international tariff schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and product management teams to gather technical specifications and documentation for accurate classification.
• Engage with colleagues across multiple countries and support Foreign Trade functions, ensuring consistent compliance in different jurisdictions.
• Stay ahead of evolving customs regulations and classification standards, proactively adapting to changes in global trade legislation.

Your Profile

Experience & Know-how

• Proven experience in trade compliance or product engineering (1 to 3 years).
• Solid understanding of tariff classification principles and practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and product documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, GTS, or MIC is a plus.

Languages

• Proficiency in English required; German is a plus.
