Responsibilities

• Provide disciplinary leadership for the Tariff/Customs Classification team, accountable for people leadership, performance management, stakeholder/client relationship management and project delivery.
• Empower employees, foster team culture, ensure smooth collaboration with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Manage and develop a team performing tariff classification of Bosch product portfolio (raw materials to components to finished goods, production parts and spare parts) according to national tariff schemes.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams and international stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HR guidelines; act as a communications bridge between employees and senior leadership.
• Work with a global team and foreign trade functions in multiple countries; fluent English required (German a plus).
• Keep
  -
  - date with evolving foreign trade regulations and tariff classification across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years in trade compliance or product engineering.
• Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff classification.
• 3+ years in a team leader, people manager, or HR-related role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust.
• Experience in managing diverse teams.
• Solid understanding of HR processes (performance management, conflict resolution, coaching, development).
• Empathy, resilience, and ability to balance employee needs with organizational priorities.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced English proficiency (German a plus).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.
