Tax Compliance Specialist

The Indirect Taxes area of EDP GBS is seeking to recruit a Tax Compliance Specialist.
What you will do:
- Calculation, preparation, and submission of all local direct and indirect taxes (CIT, VAT, WHT, local taxes, etc. ).
- Preparation and submission of VAT refunds.
- Support with the preparation and submission of declarative and ancillary obligations.
- Compliance with withholding tax requirements on payments to
- residents. - Tax audits and risks management.
- Preparation of responses to Tax Authorities' queries.
- Follow-up of tax audits and tax claims.
- Evaluation of tax contingencies and opportunities.
- Operational tax support and advisory
- Tax advisory and technical support to different areas of the Group.
- Provide technical support on
- related IT issues. - Support initiatives to improve the tax compliance function.

What are we looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, taxation or accounting.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in tax or accounting practice.
- Advanced or proficiency level of written and spoken English.
- MS Office computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Practical, open, creative, and willing to work in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and
- oriented. - Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
