VAT Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and proactive VAT Consultant with a strong background in European tax regulations and a deep understanding of VAT compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical tax expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to lead process improvements within a
- paced, multinational environment. This role requires a
- oriented professional with solid SAP experience and the capacity to manage complex reconciliations, support team supervision, and effectively collaborate with global business partners. If you are passionate about tax compliance and eager to drive process excellence, we’d like to hear from you.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CTA, or similar are advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of European VAT, Intrastat, and related tax regulations.
• Strong understanding of SAP, particularly modules related to VAT and tax reporting.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in VAT compliance, tax consulting, or related fields.
• Experience in managing complex VAT reconciliations and ensuring accurate, timely tax filings.
• Prior experience in a multinational or shared service center environment is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, ensuring clear guidance and performance management.

Skills and Competencies:

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reconciliations.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to manage stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex tax issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present tax concepts to both technical and

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure in
  - paced environments.
