ROLE SUMMARY:

King's College School, Cascais, part of Inspired Education Group, offers a Cambridge International curriculum up to Year 10, with a bilingual program in Portuguese and English for students up to Year 5. We are seeking a passionate Primary Drama Teacher to start in August 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement a dynamic drama curriculum for primary students, fostering creativity and
  - expression.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons catering to diverse learning styles.
• Organize school productions, workshops, and performances, encouraging student participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama into the broader curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment promoting respect and teamwork.
• Engage with parents and the community to showcase student achievements.
• Participate in professional development to stay updated on best practices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or related field, plus a recognized teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching drama at primary level, preferably in an international or bilingual setting.
• A passion for drama and inspiring young learners.
• Strong communication skills; fluency in English; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to extracurricular activities.
• A commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to the school's evolving culture.
