Job Description
As the Team Lead of Emerging Talent Acquisition, you will lead a dynamic team of professionals responsible for ET Recruitment EMEA. Your primary objective will be to drive the team's success, implement the global Emerging Talent Acquisition Strategy, and ensure alignment with regional and global business goals.
In your new role you will:
- Lead and empower a team of approximately 9 people, with a focus on target setting, personnel development, and future skill sets
- Implement the Emerging Talent and University Relations strategy in Portugal and across EMEA, with a focus on harmonization and standardization of processes
- Develop, coordinate, and manage Traineeship/internship programs and
- op opportunities, ensuring alignment with business needs and providing valuable experiences for students - Stay

- date on industry trends and implement new technologies (e. g. AI in Talent acquisition), agile methods, and innovative ways of working - Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of university relations and employer branding efforts, and recommend improvements
- Coach and support team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across boundaries and guarantee alignment with other ETA leaders
- Drive process improvements, streamlining workflows, and upholding Talent Acquisition quality standards
- Define team operating standards and ensure essential procedures are followed in line with the global ETA strategy
- Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
We're seeking a leader who combines a
- focused approach with a drive for business results. You should be empathetic and focused on helping your team grow and succeed, while also driving results and achieving business objectives.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within Talent Acquisition
- Demonstrated leadership potential through
- scale leadership roles, project management, or team lead responsibilities - Proven experience in working across borders and achieving great collaboration, with the ability to navigate cultural differences and build strong relationships with international stakeholders
- A passion for working with Emerging Talents and academia
- Knowledge in change management and the ability to lead teams through change, fostering a culture of adaptability and innovation
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align operations with business goals and be innovative according to industry trends
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, align diverse interests, and build trusted relationships across functions
- Knowledge of agile project management and process improvement methodologies is a plus
- Fluency in English
