A subsidiary of Indosuez Wealth Management, the wealth management arm of the Crédit Agricole Group, Azqore is an international company specializing in Information Systems outsourcing and Banking Operations Processing for private banking players. We provide our customers with an Integrated Information System (S2i) and a full range of digital banking products and services, handling back‑office operations from three hubs in Switzerland, Singapore and Portugal.
Role Overview
The Team Leader of Corporate Actions & Income Tax is responsible for processing and managing risk related to all Corporate Actions events as well as Income and Taxes topics, ensuring efficiency, productivity and high‑quality service delivery to Azqore’s clients. The role will launch this activity from scratch in Lisbon, working closely with our experienced team in Switzerland.
Location
The role will be based in Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Dom João II 43, 1990-084 Lisboa, Portugal).
Responsibilities
- Manage the Corporate Actions, Income and Taxes processing within the Portugal Securities Operations team.
- Ensure operational efficiency and excellence while maintaining low levels of operational risk.
- Act as the point of contact for European clients on Corporate Actions queries, concerns and issues.
- Understand relevant markets and demonstrate front‑to‑back knowledge of the processes handled.
- Proactively manage and resolve discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders locally and abroad.
- Drive cross‑border collaboration and strengthen communication between Portuguese and Swiss teams.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of previous experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of key risk areas of Corporate Actions, Income, Taxes functions and relevant controls.
- Evidence of strong escalation skills and ability to be part of diagnostic processes and implement solutions.
- Experience in securities or financial operations preferred.
- Strong communication skills, client‑service oriented and able to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software for securities processing.
- Rigorous, results‑oriented, adaptable and resilient.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
