Team Leader English Speaker (M/F/X)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader (English speaker) to join our client´s finance team.

We design, manufacture, and sell advanced automated insulin delivery systems that significantly reduce the burden of diabetes management, opening new possibilities for patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of F&A specialists, ensuring daily tasks are delivered within agreed SLAs/KPIs.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing, payments, collections, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
• Manage escalations, resolve complex queries, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on team performance against defined KPIs and service standards.
• Support

  - end close activities with accurate reporting.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Partner with HR/Training to develop team skills and support career progression.

Skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business.
• 5-7 years of F&A experience in SSC/GBS or corporate finance.
• At least 2–3 years in a team leader/supervisory role.
• Experience with
  - country,
  - currency operations is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net
  Suite, Workday, or similar).
• Advanced MS Excel and familiarity with BI/reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to work under pressure.
• Strong command of English Language (spoken and written)- minimum C1 level

What we have for you:

• Base salary 2000€ gross p/month
• Meal allowance of 7. 63€ p/day
• Permanent contract with the client after 3 months trial
• Schedules: Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 18:00
• Days Off - Saturday and Sunday
• Location: Porto
