Overview
Team Leader Reconciliation & Investigation role at AZQORE SA. The Team Leader Reconciliation & Investigation will be responsible for leading the cash & securities reconciliation and investigation activities, supervising the team, and ensuring efficient services for clients.
Responsibilities
- The processing of cash & securities reconciliation & investigation.
- Supervision and controls of the processes.
- Management of the Reconciliation & Investigation team.
- Ensure that services delivered to Azqore clients are efficient and productive.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Launch activity from scratch in Lisbon, working with the Swiss team.
- Based in Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Dom João II 43, 1990-084 Lisboa, Portugal).
Your Responsibilities
- Daily BAU: manage Cash & Securities Reconciliation and Investigation.
- Ensure operational efficiency, excellence, and low operational risk.
- Act as the escalation point for European clients on cash and securities reconciliation and investigations.
- Perform cash & securities reconciliation; investigate and follow up on breaks.
- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze internal requests from front/middle office and third parties related to cash transfer activity.
- Prepare detailed reports and documents (KPI, statistics).
- Support audits and compliance checks related to reconciliation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and security.
Other
- Leads Azqore Operations projects and initiatives as needed.
- Drive

Your core competencies
- Client Service Oriented & Strong Stakeholder Management Skills
Leverage technical expertise to provide quality processing and solutions; maintain strong client/stakeholder communication.
- Risk Awareness Skills
Ensure controls adhere to procedure with ISAE-audit focus; develop escalation and risk awareness in the team.
- Technical Skills/ Product Knowledge
Excellent knowledge of reconciliation tools and the S2i core banking system; understand Azqore vision, objectives, and culture.

Demonstrate a change mindset, challenge status quo, and promote process excellence.
- People Management
Engage, influence and lead the Portuguese Reconciliation & Investigation team to achieve goals.
- Other
Fluency in English and French; Bachelor degree (Master preferred) in Accountancy, Banking & Finance; 5+ years in Reconciliation & Investigation with 3+ years of people management; excellent communication and
