Responsibilities include:

• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and fire codes to determine layout requirements
• Install clamps, brackets, hangers supporting piping and fire protection equipment using hand and power tools
• Measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe; install sprinkler heads; mount pipes in supports
• Join pipes using soldering and welding equipment
• Connect piping systems to water mains, tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
• Install valves, alarms, and related equipment
• Test systems for leaks using pressure equipment
• Service and repair sprinkler systems

Qualifications:

• Licensed Sprinkler Fitter certification
• 5+ years of service experience
• Ability to operate equipment safely
• Willingness to travel within the GTA
• Availability for
  - hours, weekends, and
  - call rotations
• Team-oriented approach
• Strong English communication skills
