We are looking for a Technical Architect – Service
Now for a hybrid position (Porto).

Purpose

The Service
Now Technical Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing scalable solutions on the Service
Now platform. This role ensures that the architecture aligns with business requirements, technical best practices, and organizational strategy, while enabling innovation and platform growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of Service
  Now solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other modules.
• Define and enforce platform standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring
  - quality code and sustainable architecture.
• Oversee integrations with external systems (REST, SOAP, JDBC, LDAP, Azure AD, Intune, monitoring tools, etc. ).
• Drive CMDB strategy, Discovery, and data governance initiatives.
• Support platform upgrade planning, performance optimization, and security compliance.
• Conduct design reviews, architecture assessments, and provide solution recommendations.
• Mentor Service
  Now developers and administrators on technical implementation and best practices.

Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of Service
  Now experience, with at least 3 years in an architect or lead developer role.
• Strong expertise across multiple Service
  Now modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, Sec
  Ops, etc. ).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Service
  Now integrations and workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of Service
  Now architecture, data model, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise service management practices.
• Strong understanding of CMDB design, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Proficiency in scripting (Java
  Script, Glide API, Angular
  JS, etc. ) and development frameworks.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Service
  Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or other advanced certifications are a strong plus.
