The role provides expert technical support in hospitals’ operating rooms and cath labs, and works with a network of accounts to expand the use of less invasive device therapies for Pelvic Floor disorders. Travel within your region is required, including meetings and trainings abroad. The working territory is the North Region of Portugal; location near the region is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to physicians in the operating room and cath labs during Sacral Neuromodulation procedures
- Advise referring physicians on company products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes
- Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers
- Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes
- Identify leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits from Medtronic products and services
- Carry out administrative duties and reports related to role duties
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s or university degree in life sciences, engineering (biomedical engineering, natural sciences, etc. ), or other relevant fields (nursing, technician, etc. )
- Experience is preferred but not required; motivation to learn is essential
- Fluent English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
- Computer literacy
- Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians and provide expert technical support in hospital operating rooms
- Clean driving license and willingness to travel within the region
- Spanish will be appreciated; strong communication skills, ability to manage tasks, and motivation to build robust business relationships;
- motivated with able to work with minimal supervision
