Mediterranean Field Services and Workshops is looking for a motivated
Engine Expert (4 stroke)in Technical Services team. You serve both internal and external customers with all operational technical inquiries related to Wärtsilä Engines and their control systems. You will provide this support in the field of installation, maintenance and troubleshooting for related engines. You will report to General Manager Technical Services Mediterranean Region.

This is a permanent opportunity and preferred location is Marseille, France. Other locations in Mediterranean Region (Italy, Spain, Greece) or Europe may be considered.

Your role and responsibilities

As Engine Expert (4 Stroke), your work will focus on these responsibilities:

Manage complex technical and operating problems of the customer and internal stakeholders to reach quality with
- time support and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Participate in customer and/or vendor meetings as an engine expert, when complex technical matters are handled

Perform troubleshooting and technical field investigations and screening of field service reporting.

Visit sites when deeper product, system and/or performance analysis is needed

Analyse field experience and customer feedback data to improve the products and solutions as well as operation and maintenance of the installation.

Make complex analysis with adequate conclusions and recommendations (reports)

Be responsible for handling Technical Requests received from customers.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have :

A

Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent education

Motivation and genuine interest to work with 4-stroke engines

A high level of mechanical and automation experience with Wärtsilä engines. Experience with
- Wärtsilä engines is a strong plus

Experience in a service support role especially with Wärtsilä products (field service /engineering)

A true team player with a proactive approach and technical reporting skills who engages and collaborates with others to deliver results

You are a strong communicator with good organizational and analytical skills

Positive mindset and open to learning new things

Customer focused with a service minded attitude

Fluent in written and spoken English and the local language of your location (French, Italian, Spanish or Greek)

You are willing to travel occasionally.

Le Service Technique est à la recherche d'un(e) Expert(e) Technique moteur 4 temps. Vous assurez le support technique de nos clients internes et externes sur les moteurs 4 temps Wärtsilä et leurs systèmes de contrôle moteur. Vous assurerez ce support dans le cadre de l'exploitation des navires, de leur maintenance et du dépannage.

Ce poste est à durée indéterminée et basé de préférence à Marseille, France. D'autres localisations en Europe peuvent être envisagées.

En tant que Expert(e) Technique 4 temps, vous êtes en charge :

d'assurer la gestion de problèmes techniques complexes afin d'atteindre un niveau de qualité dans le respect des délais et d'assurer la satisfaction de nos clients.

de participer aux réunions en tant qu'expert(e) technique, lorsque des questions techniques complexes sont traitées.

d'assurer les dépannages techniques, les recherches de pannes et le contrôle des rapports de notre personnel intervenant sur le terrain.

d'intervenir sur site ou à bord des navires lorsqu'une analyse plus approfondie des équipements, des systèmes de contrôle et/ou des performances est nécessaire.

d'analyser les données venant du terrain et de nos clients afin d'améliorer nos produits concernant l'exploitation et la maintenance de nos installations.

d'effectuer des analyses complexes en émettant des conclusions et des recommandations appropriées (rapports).

Ce poste exigeune solide expérience en mécanique et contrôle commande. La connaissance des moteurs 4 temps Wärtsilä ou
- Wärtsilä est un plus.

Vous avez un bon niveau d'anglais tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.

Issu(e) de préférence d'uneformation supérieure (niveau Bac +4/+5) en mécanique ou équivalant avec 5 ans d'expériencesur un poste similaire.

Organisé(e), rigoureux(se) et mobile pour des déplacements temporaires, vous avez l'esprit d'équipe et une forte aisance relationnelle, tout en faisant preuve de confidentialité et de pertinence dans votre communication.

Vous avez un étatd'esprit orienté Client/Service, unecapacité d'analyseet savez être force de proposition tout en intégrantdes notions de coûts et de Sécurité en priorité. Votreténacité et engagement vous permettent de faire aboutir les projets dont vous avez la responsabilité.
