Technical Lead (Full-Stack)

Constellation Automotive Group Tech Hub – Hybrid working (home & BCA Coimbra monthly visits). Permanent, full‑time position – Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Competitive salary plus bonus.

Role Accountabilities

• Guide a team of engineers, fostering inspiration, encouragement, innovation and collaboration.
• Ensure continuous delivery of value to users through efficient practices and well‑coordinated releases.
• Collaborate closely with Design and Product teams to implement visually compelling and intuitive interfaces.
• Align the team’s work with the product vision and strategic goals, fostering continuous improvement.
• Handle line‑management duties, including hiring, training and performance evaluations.
• Drive improvements of engineering practices to enhance efficiency, code quality and user experience – conduct code reviews, write tests and document work.
• Stay abreast of the latest development trends and best practices, providing technical leadership to the team.

Knowledge & Experience

• Proven track record in web/mobile application development, cloud solutions, service‑oriented and event‑driven architectures.
• Strong proficiency in AWS, Serverless, Type
  Script, Node. js, React and React Native (or similar platforms).
• Demonstrable Dev
  Ops mindset, accountable for the entire product lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum or Kanban).
• Experience with automated testing, TDD/BDD concepts.
• People‑management experience – hiring, training, performance management.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong leadership, mentorship skills and analytical problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
