Role Overview:
We are looking for a Tech Lead (Marketing Cloud) to join a leading energy company in Portugal where innovation, sustainability, and excellence are the pillars of their success. What you will do :
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or other Marketing Automation platforms) solutions.
- Define architectural guidelines and ensure best practices in campaign management, data modeling, and integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and marketing teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Oversee technical delivery, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to project timelines.
- Mentor and guide developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Integrate Marketing Cloud with CRM systems, data warehouses, and
- party applications. - Monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement automation to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e. g. , GDPR, LGPD, CCPA) and marketing best practices.
- Act as the main technical point of contact for complex incidents, troubleshooting, and solution design.
- Stay up to date with Marketing Technology (Mar
Tech) trends and evaluate new tools to enhance customer engagement strategies.
What you are like:
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar Marketing Automation platforms).
- Knowledge of Marketing Cloud modules (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Builder, Mobile Studio, etc. ).
- Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, and
- side Java
Script for personalization and automation. - Experience with APIs, system integrations, and data synchronization between Marketing Cloud and CRM platforms (Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud preferred).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, segmentation, and campaign orchestration.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture principles, scalable solution design, and performance optimization.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding technical teams.
- Excellent
- solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (GDPR, LGPD, CCPA).
