Project Overview Our client is a leading commercial real estate advisory and service provider for large institutional investors, global corporations, and various owners and occupiers.
Their mission is to simplify the process of leasing, buying, or selling properties across multiple sectors, including retail, office, multifamily, industrial, student housing, and hospitality.

Your Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Engineer to join our global real estate technology team.
This
- on role follows a 70/30 split between engineering delivery and team leadership, providing the opportunity to both architect and develop complex solutions as well as lead a
- performing POD.
The successful candidate will work across the UK technology portfolio and EU initiatives, coordinating closely with developers and QA professionals from our India Centre of Excellence (COE).
Key Responsibilities Lead a POD of Developers and QAs, ensuring the timely and
- quality delivery of features and enhancements across UK and EU projects.
Act as a
- on technical lead, contributing robust,
- ready code and guiding solution architecture and best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and
- functional stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure solutions meet business goals.
Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, and technical upskilling within the POD.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, QA practices, and Dev
Ops integration.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and
- performance team culture across global teams, ensuring strong engagement with India COE resources.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks or roadblocks affecting delivery and team productivity.
Contribute to technical documentation, architecture reviews, and stakeholder updates as required.
Skills Required 7+ years of experience in software engineering roles, with recent
- on technical leadership responsibilities.
Proven track record of delivering
- critical solutions in distributed, agile environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and mentoring skills.
Expertise in architecting, building, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications.
Experience with legacy systems built in ASP. NET /. NET frameworks and their modernization.
Familiarity with global team collaboration and effective work across time zones.
Experience with real estate, property technology, or digital transformation projects.
Strong background in mentoring geographically distributed engineering teams.
Any experience with Crystal Reports (. NET reporting), Mapper, Wilson, LINQ, . NET Forms is beneficial.
Hands-on experience with Dev
Ops, CI/CD automation, and software quality assurance best practices.
Previous experience with enterprise initiatives in the UK, EU, or across multiple regions.
