AI Team Lead (Remote)

Our client is looking for an experienced AI Team Lead to spearhead the design and implementation of
- generation AI services within a Saa
S environment. This professional will guide a multidisciplinary team to architect and deploy intelligent,
- driven solutions that enhance user experience and deliver real business impact.

Your Mission

AI Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the AI technology roadmap, focusing on embedded intelligence and scalable solutions.
• Lead the design of AI agent frameworks, establishing standards, governance, and integration patterns.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI trends, technologies, and regulations to guide responsible innovation.

Hands-On Technical Leadership

• Architect and prototype solutions using LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines .
• Lead by example in building scalable, modular AI systems integrated with cloud and microservices environments.
• Establish Data
  Ops and MLOps best practices to ensure secure, efficient model deployment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and experience optimization.
• Mentor AI engineers, data scientists, and developers on best practices for prompt engineering,
  - tuning, and model evaluation .

Governance & Quality

• Define and monitor AI performance metrics, testing frameworks, and validation processes.
• Establish internal standards for model reliability, interpretability, and fairness across enterprise use cases.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software development, including 5+ years in AI/ML (LLM/Agent experience preferred).
• 3+ years in a leadership role, managing AI or
  - focused teams.
• Proven experience deploying LLM-based or AI production systems .
• Strong expertise in Python and frameworks such as Py
  Torch, Tensor
  Flow, or Lang
  Chain .
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines , and vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone, FAISS).
• Solid knowledge of data engineering, MLOps, CI/CD , and cloud environments (AWS preferred) .
• Experience with REST/Graph
  QL APIs and microservice architectures .
• English fluency (spoken and written).

• Experience with AI agent frameworks (Lang
  Graph, Crew
  AI, Auto
  Gen, Eliza
  OS).
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and AI safety standards.
• Prior experience integrating AI features into Saa
  S or industrial platforms .
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or Data Science .
• Portuguese proficiency (preferred but not required).
