Job Description

As a Technical Lead Software Engineer, you will lead the way in technical direction and team management, providing legal supervision and guidance to the MDI (Manufacturing Decision Intelligence) team in Porto, while also serving as the technical lead for setting direction and making key technical decisions.

In your new role, you will:

1. Provide legal supervision and guidance to the MDI team in Porto
2. Lead the test data management team, providing technical direction and oversight to ensure the successful development and support of applications
3. Be accountable for the applications within the scope of the team, including development, support, and maintenance
4. Collaborate with key users to understand business requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs
5. Develop and maintain a future roadmap for applications in scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a Team Leader or Technical Lead, with a strong background in software development and team management
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex software development projects, and mentoring and guiding a team of engineers
• Experience in planning, designing, and implementing complex systems
• Experience in automated software testing and rollout, ensuring seamless deployment of software solutions
• Advanced knowledge in SQL/PL-SQL and database management, with expertise in Oracle
• Proficiency in Agile development methods
• Experience within the semiconductor industry is a significant plus, although not mandatory
• Fluency in English is mandatory
