Technical Product Manager (Fintech) – Contract

Location: Portugal (Hybrid – Lisbon)

Office: 2–3 days/week (Lisbon)

Engagement: B2B / Contract

Role Overview

We're looking for a Technical Product Manager with a strong software engineering background to support a fintech product team. This role suits a consultant who has moved from development into product and is comfortable operating across the full SDLC.

Not an infra, Dev
Ops, or Scrum Master role – this is
- on,
- centric product work.

What You'll Do

• Drive software features
  -
  - end across the SDLC
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear technical specifications
• Work closely with engineers on APIs, backend systems, and application design
• Prioritise backlogs based on technical and business impact
• Communicate effectively with engineering and
  - technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Background in Computer Science or similar
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer / Developer
• Experience in a Technical Product Manager / Product Owner role
• Strong understanding of software architecture and modern development practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Fintech / payments / regulated domain experience preferred

Requirements

• Based in Portugal or willing to relocate
• Available to work hybrid from Lisbon (2–3 days/week)
• Open to B2B consulting engagement
• Available to start within 4 weeks
