Position

Technical Product Owner for a project based in Lisbon

Mission

Defining and prioritising features and requirements for our product, as well as working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure that the product is delivered on time and meets the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, road map, and goals;
• Develop and maintain a product backlog, prioritising features and requirements;
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria that cover the identified product scope;
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute product development;
• Act as the primary point of contact for all product‑related issues and decisions;
• Act as the "voice of the customer" within the development team;
• Work closely with the functional and technical leads, architects and development team to plan and execute product development;
• Prioritise and manage the product backlog to ensure that the product is delivered on time and meets the needs of the customer;
• Be a major contributor to the technical specs to create solutions aligned with the product vision;
• Confirm that user stories are complete and accept or reject stories delivered by the development team;
• Monitor and report on product progress and metrics;
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure they are informed and involved in the development process.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role;
• Experience working in a cross‑functional team;
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies;
• Excellent communication and leadership skills;
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
• Team‑player attitude, goal‑driven, results‑oriented, self‑motivated, with a willingness and aptitude to learn and grow with new technologies and techniques;
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken);
• Technical background with a hands‑on coding background;
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a software developer;
• Extensive knowledge of RESTful API;
• Experience leading large software development projects;
• Experience using Jira and X‑Ray;
• Experience using Confluence;
• Comfortable in the domains of process modelling, process monitoring, business rules, and business event‑based technologies;
• Experience writing User Stories, User Story Mapping and working in an agile tool;
• Good written and spoken level of Spanish.
