Role Overview

NXW is seeking a highly organized, outgoing and
- savvy Technical Program Manager to drive
-
- end
- up projects across strain and lab development, product process design, tech transfer to manufacturing partners, processing optimisation, and supply chain integration. You will work directly with the CSO, CTO, and CEO to ensure ambitious R&D and manufacturing programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead
  - functional
  - up programmes spanning strain development, product process design, tech transfer to manufacturing partners, processing optimisation, and supply chain integration
• Translate scientific and technical objectives into clear project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Monitor and report on project milestones, risks, and dependencies to our core team
• Facilitate collaboration between R&D, operations, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement project management best practices, including tools, documentation, and OKR tracking.
• Support
  - making for science and technology investments, process improvements, and
  - up strategies.
• Coordinate with external partners, strategic manufacturers, and suppliers as needed for project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Food Science, Engineering, or business or science/technical related field.
• Proven experience in technical project management within
  - tech, biotech, engineering or ingredient development.
• Hands-on understanding of R&D,
  - scale, and
  - scale production processes.
• Strong organizational, planning, and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, able to bridge scientific, technical, and commercial stakeholders.
• Experience with project management tools and structured reporting.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support pilots, production trials, and partner coordination.
• Comfortable travelling up to 50% of the time, including to China and internationally.
• Based in Lisbon
