Technical Support Engineer (Cloud Security) (m/f/d)
Join our dynamic Cloud Protection Cybersecurity team as a Technical Support Engineer (Cloud Security) (m/f/d) at Siemens.
This role involves providing support for our global cloud protection services. We seek someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and helping clients navigate cybersecurity solutions.
Your strong communication skills in English will be essential for interacting with clients worldwide, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable solutions. The role includes
- call responsibilities but offers opportunities to work with
- edge cloud security technologies and grow expertise in a rapidly evolving field.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing
- level technical support for cloud protection cybersecurity services, troubleshooting and resolving customer issues. - Delivering timely and effective solutions to meet customer needs.
- Collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure resolution of issues.
- Working with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as user guides and knowledge base articles.
- Providing product feedback and suggestions for improvements.
- Participating in customer meetings and conference calls to provide technical support.
- Being available for
- call duty during evenings, nights, and weekends.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
- Willingness to participate in 24x7
- call rotations. - Technical background in cloud cybersecurity.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or Service
Now.
Preferred skills:
- Understanding of network protocols and packet analysis.
- Experience with cloud security solutions like CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001.
- Relevant certifications like CCNA, Security+, Azure or AWS certifications.
