Technical Support Engineer - SCIM
Responsibilities
- Response and Resolution: Own, investigate, and resolve customer technical issues by collaborating within and across teams, utilizing troubleshooting tools and practices.
- Readiness: Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles, sharing knowledge where appropriate. Develop technical and professional skills through training and readiness initiatives to effectively resolve customer issues.
- Product/Process Improvement: Identify potential product defects, escalate appropriately, and contribute to Microsoft product enhancements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in technical support, technical consulting, or IT service support.
- Effective communication skills with customer managers and executives on technical and business issues.
- Experience with or exposure to Microsoft Sentinel or Microsoft Defender suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, Comp
TIA Security+, ISC2 CC, BTL1/2, GSIF/GCIC/GCED/GSEC, PSAA, Kepner-Tregoe, or equivalent. - Skills in organization, time management, project management, and negotiation.
- Understanding of DNS principles and protocols.
- Knowledge of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc. ).
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Background in security engineering (blue/red team), system/network engineering, Dev
Ops/SRE, or software engineering with a cybersecurity focus. - Good understanding of TCP/IP stack, cloud environments, and basic system administration in Linux and/or Windows Server.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
