Technical Support Engineer, Zero Trust
Overview
Technical Support Engineer, Zero Trust — Lisbon, Portugal. You will work with customers on a variety of technical support issues and collaborate with the Technical Operations team responsible for running Cloudflare's global distributed network. This role will help you learn the inner workings of Cloudflare's technology and deepen your understanding of internet technologies.
Responsibilities
- Join to apply for the Technical Support Engineer, Zero Trust role at Cloudflare.
- Provide technical customer support across multiple channels and help customers resolve complex issues.
- Collaborate with the Technical Operations team to monitor and maintain Cloudflare’s global network.
- Assist customers in understanding and using Zero Trust, Access, Gateway, Tunnel, and related Cloudflare technologies.
- Learn and apply knowledge of DNS, networking, identity and access management protocols (SSO, SAML, OAuth, Federation, SCIM),
- factor authentication mechanisms (TOTP, SMS, FIDO, U2F, Web
Auth, Email, Push MFA), VPNs, and related tools. - Troubleshoot and resolve tickets with a
- first mindset and effective communication through various support channels. - Proactively expand your technical skillset and stay current with Cloudflare products and best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a
- facing role as part of a team. - Experience solving DNS and other
- related problems. - Understanding of how the Internet works.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management protocols and technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth, Federation, SCIM).
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting
- factor mechanisms (TOTP, SMS, FIDO, U2F, Web
Auth, Email, Push MFA). - Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPNs.
- Experience in a support role with a track record of resolving tickets.
- Strong communication skills across support channels and a
- first approach. - Self-motivated and eager to expand existing skills.
