Technician, Accounts Receivable

We are currently looking for a new member for the SSC - Accounts Receivable team to join us in the position of Technician, Accounts Receivable.

Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Lisbon.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of previous experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control (mandatory)
• Fluent in English (B2)
• Proficient in Ms Office Suite, particularly Excel (mandatory) and SAP knowledge would be a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Customer driven and high level of accuracy

Responsibilities:

• Perform collection activities related to all Sonae Sierra’s tenants, according to the prescribed procedures;
• Monitor and control customers' balances and their bank accounts to ensure that payments are received within the contractually agreed deadlines;
• Keep a daily record of payments received from tenants in order to remove debits and feed the collection fee calculation system;
• Daily follow up cases of delayed payment, by sending comfort letters, emails and/or making phone calls to ensure that debt amounts are collected;
• Prepare different collection reports (collections rate, ageing report, etc. );
• Prepare processes for litigation by gathering the necessary information;
• Manage and control all not returned credit notes and request their refund.
