We are seeking an Application Production Support Specialist to join the Cash Equities Execution APS team within a leading global financial institution. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of Global Markets, providing high‑quality support and ensuring the stability of a world‑class global execution platform.

In This Role, You Will

• Support
  - time,
  - latency systems
• Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and developers
• Gain hands‑on experience with modern financial markets, exchange connectivity, and algorithmic/high‑frequency trading environments

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the cash equities execution platform, ensuring performance and stability
• Build, improve, and automate monitoring systems to prevent issues proactively
• Perform and validate production deployments with accuracy
• Collaborate with traders, developers, and business teams to drive continuous improvements
• Manage incidents end‑to‑end, including root‑cause analysis and incident reporting

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Experience in Application Production Support
• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP, UDP)
• Scripting experience: Shell, Python, Perl, or any programming language (C, C++, Java, etc. )
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Experience with log management tools: Splunk, ELK, Graylog, Loki
• Experience with network monitoring tools: Corvil
• Databases: Oracle, Postgre
  SQL, My
  SQL/Maria
  DB, KDB/q
• Messaging systems: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka
• Observability & monitoring tools: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana
