Technician Production Support M/F

- up and validation of file transfers, produce support and set up of applications developed for the business, act as Production Support on incidents and problems for local applications, be the central point for the small applications (VBA) linked to Market Data (Reuters, Bloomberg, Ramp), provide solutions to get and contribute market data for several business lines (J-Rates Lite "rate", DB Taux / DB Cours, …), and develop small tools to help IT or Business.
Act as Production Support by performing:
- Prod & QA releases
- User Administration and Configuration
- Daily checks
- Coordination with Infrastructure teams
- Production Requests (such as DB extract, system upgrade…)
- Reporting
- DRP setup and testing
Main Tasks:
- Support and monitor
- Build and enhance monitoring to prevent and quickly resolve issues.
- Deploy production changes with precision ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining the integrity of the platform.
- Work closely with traders, developers, and other stakeholders to implement continuous process improvements.
- Manage incident including detailed analysis and reporting to maintain high service levels.
Profile
Technical Skills:
- Administrative knowledge of Windows (W. 10 workstations – W. 2012/2016/2019 Servers)
- Administrative knowledge of Linux / Unix system: REDHAT/DEBIAN
- Microsoft IIS Application Server
- Microsoft IIS Proxy Server
- Windows Scripting: batch / powershell / perl
- Unix scripting: ksh
- Schedulers: Autosys / Control M / SQL Server Agent / Crontab
- SQL Server knowledge (Refresh database / Configuration / Permissions / Optimizations)
- Oracle Server (Refresh database / Configuration / Permissions / Optimizations)
- Ability to build queries (SQL Server database)
- Good knowledge of security concepts
- Good knowledge of IT Design (for software / for infrastructure)
- Infrastructure skills (Physical infrastructure / Virtual infrastructure: VMWARE – ESX – Virtualization / Firewall / Load balancers)
- Knowledge of the packaging process (not expert)
- Some programming skills (VBA) to develop tools for
