Técnico De Helpdesk

We are seeking a Helpdesk technician for an internal and international project.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support for Employees:
- Handle assistance requests via phone, email, chat, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Assist in configuring and using institutional software and Microsoft Office suite. - IT Infrastructure Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain equipment and peripherals.
- Monitor network operations and provide basic connectivity support (Wi-Fi, VPN, remote access).
- Conduct preventive maintenance and update operating systems and applications. - Support for Teachers and Students:
- Configure access and support for distance learning systems (LMS, videoconferencing platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex).
- Provide technical assistance for presentations, projections, and other audiovisual resources used in classes and academic events.
- Support online tests and assessments, ensuring proper platform functioning. - Systems and Access Administration:
- Manage institutional accounts, access permissions, and passwords.
- Support the use of academic and administrative systems.
- Maintain security policies and ensure compliance with IT standards. - Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Document assistance requests and solutions in detail.
- Generate incident reports and suggest improvements for IT infrastructure.
- Participate in training and develop educational materials for users. - Support for Events and Academic Activities:
- Provide technical support for conferences, lectures, and institutional events.
- Set up audiovisual equipment in classrooms and auditoriums.
- Assist guests and speakers with technological resources.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Previous experience in technical support and user assistance.
- Knowledge of Windows and mac
OS operating systems. - Familiarity with networks, communication protocols, and information security.
- Ability to work under pressure and proactively solve problems.
- Good communication skills, empathy, and ability to handle diverse user profiles.
- Advanced English is a plus for supporting international students and faculty.
- Availability for
- time work Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 10 pm and Saturdays from 8:
30 am to 1:
30 pm.
