As a Substation Automation Tender Specialist, you will be part of our Grid Automation Europe team, serving the Southern Europe region. We are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced professional based in one of our offices in Paço de Arcos, Madrid, Milan, Rome, or Zagreb.

In this role, you will lead the tendering process from initial request to contract signing and hand over to operations. Your responsibilities include preparing bids, estimates, and quotations aligned with customer specifications, ensuring
- quality, competitive, and profitable proposals.

You will operate within the substation automation market, managing a variety of tenders—from turnkey projects to products and services—across Southern Europe.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Create commercially, legally, and technically optimized and
  - quality offers based on customer specifications.
• Define the scope of supply in close collaboration with operations.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to solicit quotations from subcontractors.
• Estimate costs and determine margins and sales prices in cooperation with sales.
• Plan tenders and ensure timely submission.
• Provide technical support to sales during pursuit stages and support contract negotiations.
• Prepare tender documents and reports for internal risk reviews and approvals.

Your Background

• Higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent technical understanding of substation automation, control, and protection solutions.
• Good knowledge of the grid automation market.
• Previous experience in tendering and commercial processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Spanish, French, Italian, Croatian, or other Balkan languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer meetings.
