Role: Full-time, permanent

Location: Porto Salvo, Portugal

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and
- on Tender Manager to coordinate all our local tenders in Portugal along with managing and motivating a small team. In order to increase tender success rate, you’ll collaborate with the sales department and implement analytical decision support tools. You’ll also oversee making pricing decisions based on financial analysis and manage relationships with key stakeholders. In addition, you’ll work cross functionally with other departments, and with Regulatory Affairs to make sure all tender documentation is updated and in line with current regulations.

The Person:

Significant experience in managing tenders from submission to the end within a pharmaceutical setting (or in a similar, highly regulated industry like chemicals, FMCG or cosmetics)

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Previous experience in managing a team would be an advantage but not essential

Able to work to tight deadlines with changing priorities and stay focused under pressure

Working knowledge of SAP, ESKER or BISIONA would be a plus

Good communication skills at all levels of seniority

Educated to a degree level (Economy, Management or Life Sciences)

Good level of English and Portuguese language
