Test Manager

We are looking for a Test Manager to join our Inetum Team and be part of a work culture focused on innovation!

Location: Lisbon

Main Tasks:

  • Manage a portfolio of test projects, ensuring full ownership from initial scoping to test closure while guaranteeing quality, budget, timeline, and deliverables.
  • Define and organize test scoping and overall test strategies, identifying missing documentation and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and manage all test levels and test types, organizing workshops and coordinating user inputs during test phases.
  • Ensure the development, validation, communication, and reporting of all test design deliverables in compliance with standards and commitments.
  • Plan and monitor test activities, including macro and detailed estimations, resource needs, and budget tracking.
  • Identify, monitor, and report test-related risks, defining and following action plans.
  • Organize and supervise test teams, ensuring commitments regarding planning, quality, and costs are met.
  • Decide Go / No Go for test execution and ensure user participation throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Ensure proper execution of tests, registration of results and defects in reference tools, and regular progress reporting to project management.
  • Lead test closure activities, including test reports, contribution to project closure documentation, and identification of improvement areas.
  • Ensure functional and transversal management of test contributors through communication, reporting, and governance committees.
  • Provide methodological support, manage resources, contribute to objective setting, and monitor team performance.

Profile:

  • Senior professional with minimum 8 years of experience in Test activities and strong exposure to complex testing environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple test projects or portfolios within Agile contexts.
  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies, principles, and vocabulary (ISTQB).
  • Experience with test automation and CI/CD environments.
  • Background in testing applications within banking or life insurance domains is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and
    - making skills.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and team motivation capabilities.
  • Ability to manage stress, resolve conflicts, and adapt to change.
  • Structured, critical, and logical thinker with strong summarization skills.

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Fluency in French is mandatory.
