We are seeking a skilled Thermal Printing Machine Operator to join our production team in Porto (Maia), Portugal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining thermal printing equipment, including CAB printers and ultrasonic cutters, to produce
- quality printed carelabels. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure smooth operation and timely production.

Key Responsibilities

• Thermal Printing Operations:
• Operate CAB thermal printers to produce
  - quality prints on labels
• Adjust and configure printer settings for different materials and designs.
• Nicelabel software management:
• Skilled at using nicelabel software to print
• Ultrasonic Cutting Operations:
• Operate and maintain ultrasonic cutting machines to cut labels with precision.
• Ensure smooth edge finishing and adherence to product specifications.
• Production Management:
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and report any shortages or issues.
• Machine Maintenance:
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of thermal printers and ultrasonic cutters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Address any production defects and suggest improvements to processes.
• Health & Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to company health and safety policies and ensure a safe working environment.
• Properly handle and store materials and equipment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience operating thermal printers (e. g. , CAB) and ultrasonic cutting machines.
• Familiarity with production workflows and quality assurance standards.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with an ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing
  - quality outputs.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy for printer software operation including nicelabel
• Good communication skills and fluency in Portuguese (English is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in garment trims, labels, or packaging production.
• Training in machine operations or a related field.
