Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior TIBCO Developer / IT Engineer to join the File Exchanges & Transformation team within a global Core Capabilities division. This position involves operating, supporting, and enhancing a mission‑critical data exchange platform, providing both technical and functional support to clients, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality and timely delivery of all assigned deliverables.
• Provide technical and functional support to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Participate in the improvement and optimization of the data exchange platform.
• Clarify and qualify requirements, assessing feasibility, complexity, and implementation effort.
• Design, implement, test, and validate technical and functional solutions.
• Conduct and document Proofs of Concept (Po
  Cs) to evaluate new technologies or enhancements.
• Ensure alignment with internal processes, guidelines, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Engineer or TIBCO Developer.
• Strong understanding of publish/subscribe principles for data exchanges.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and Shell scripting.
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Proven experience in incident management and production support.
• Highly autonomous, detail‑oriented, and committed to quality.
• Proactive, analytical thinker with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills in English and French.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with life insurance or banking applications.
• Familiarity with TIBCO integration tools and data transformation platforms.
• Programming experience in additional languages.

Additional Information

• Ability to travel within Portugal and abroad, when required.
• Possibility to perform on‑call activities outside regular working hours.
