Tivoli Specialist

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid)

Type: Fulltime, Hybrid from Lisbon (2-3 days onsite per week)

Languages: English (C1 or higher); French is a plus

Available to work on Rotational Shifts: Shift 1: 08h00 – 16h00; Shift 2: 16h00 – 00h00; 24/7 coverage

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled IAM & IT Operations Engineer to support and maintain a critical IT production environment. The ideal candidate will work with established runbooks and provide
- line support, ensuring continuity of key systems. Hands-on experience with Tivoli is mandatory, as this role requires a solid understanding of batch workload scheduling and system orchestration.

Mid: 2 - 4 years of experience in IT Operations or Technical Support

Senior: 4+ years of experience in system operations or IT production support

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience with IBM Tivoli, particularly Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)
• Basic
  - level knowledge of Linux/Unix (log analysis, directory navigation)
• Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira or Service

• Strong incident analysis and troubleshooting capabilities
• Familiarity with Shell scripting
• English proficiency (C1 or higher); French is a plus

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to broader IAM tools and concepts
• Understanding of monitoring tools and job scheduling integrations

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and validate execution of batch processing plans using Tivoli
• Investigate alerts and system incidents flagged by monitoring tools
• Apply predefined operational and escalation procedures
• Analyze system logs and perform basic Linux/Unix diagnostics
• Liaise with internal IT teams (Monitoring, File Transfers, Scheduling, etc. ) to ensure system health
• Manage incident tickets in Jira or Service
