The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Trade Management Analyst to plan, coordinate, and execute asset transitions for UK defined benefit pension schemes.
You’ll be part of the EMEA Trade Management team—12 specialists who handle 2, 100+ transactions a year, valued at more than £33bn. Each project involves multiple assets classes and requires flawless project management to ensure trades run smoothly, avoid unexpected costs, and meet strict deadlines.
You’ll work with a wide network—internal and external clients, custodians, investment managers, fund administrators, and lawyers—making your role pivotal in keeping projects on track and stakeholders aligned.
What You’ll Do
As a Trade Management Analyst, you’ll:
- Design and execute efficient trading plans that manage risk, control costs, and maintain market exposure.
- Gain exposure to multiple asset classes, from equities and fixed income to private markets.
- Consider broader factors like currency hedging and the use of transition managers.
- Think on your feet to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities.
- Work both independently and alongside consultants, depending on project size and complexity.
- Contribute to process improvements and uphold our high standards through our Professional Excellence framework.
What You’ll Bring

- Ideally IMC qualified (or willing to work toward it with our support).
