VIT is seeking a TRAVEL WRITER ASSISTANT

VIT is a Destination Management Company (DMC) with over 25 years of experience in international markets.

VIT offers travel experiences in Italy, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Our clientele consists of international travel agents. VIT operates in the Premium and Luxury segments and is part of prestigious international networks such as Traveller Made, XO Private, Internova, and Signature. This position requires excellent fluency in English. We are looking for ambitious candidates with strong motivation and passion for travel, but above all, individuals capable of working in a team and handling stress effectively.

40 hours per week

Responsibilities :

• Design and create detailed travel itineraries for publication on platforms such as Axus or Travefy
• Write compelling travel content and descriptions for itineraries and travel experiences
• Understand client specifications and preferences to suggest appropriate travel packages and services
• Organize complete travel experiences from start to finish, including booking hotels, excursions, transfers, and all other necessary services
• Create visually appealing itinerary presentations using graphic design principles
• Prepare comprehensive travel documents and materials

Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the travel industry, preferably with a DMC or tour operator
• Fluent English proficiency (essential requirement)
• Excellent writing skills for creating engaging travel content
• Knowledge of graphic design principles and software
• Experience with tour design and itinerary creation
• Proficiency in publishing platforms such as Axus or Travefy (preferred)
• Travel blogging experience is highly valued
• Knowledge of other languages is appreciated

Required Qualifications:

• Educational background relevant to the position (tourism, hospitality, or related field)
• Proficiency in Office applications or Google Suite
• Experience in travel business operations
• Based in Portugal with legal right to work
