Position Details

Work as a Ukrainian-Speaking Translator remotely in Portugal!

Responsibilities

1. Render accurate concepts and meanings between Ukrainian and English, maintaining appropriate complexity, clarity, tone, and style; adhere to grammatical and syntactical rules in both languages.
2. Provide precise translations of messages, including every detail of conversations.
3. Follow customer instructions, manage call flow, and avoid taking over the call.
4. Understand protocols and terminology at the customer service level across various industries such as Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, 911, Law Enforcement, Court, and General Business.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Ukrainian & English (C1 level in both).
• High School Diploma (mandatory).
• Education in languages, translation, interpretation, or related fields (preferred).
• Excellent listening, retention, and
  - taking skills for high accuracy.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with customer permission or upon request.
• Ability to concentrate, remain neutral, and stay detached from conversations.
• Reliable, autonomous, disciplined, confident, and organized.
• Strong time management skills and responsibility.
• Ability to work towards performance goals.
