The Pestana Hotel Group is the largest Portuguese Hotel Group with more than 100 hotels in 16 countries across three continents. We are currently seeking a passionate Unit Manager to join our team in Madeira Island. JOB DESCRIPTION – Unit Manager
Responsibilities- Supervise work at all levels (receptionists, kitchen staff, maids, office employees etc. ) and set clear
- Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating
- Support in the management of budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and
- Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient strategy to promote the hotel’s
- Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc. )- Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment etc. - Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, event/conference planners etc. - Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements- Proven experience as Operational Manager preferably in 4/5 stars
- Fluency in Portuguese and English;



- Understanding ofall hotel management best
- Working knowledge of MS Office;
