Location: Portugal (Cascais)

Salary range: €25, 000 – €30, 000 EUR annually

We are seeking a
- centred University & Academic Counselor to join an international Sixth Form College in Cascais. This role is ideal for a professional who is highly organised, empathetic, and confident in coordinating closely with students and families , while guiding learners through important academic and university decisions.

This is a key position within a

Key responsibilities include:

Providing personalised academic and university guidance to Sixth Form students.

Acting as a central point of coordination between students, families, and teaching staff .

Advising on subject choices, academic pathways, and
- school progression.

Supporting university applications (UK UCAS, EU, US Common App, and other international routes).

Guiding students and families through timelines, documentation, and
- making processes.

Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate academic and counseling records.

We are looking for candidates with:

A strong
- first mindset and genuine commitment to individual learner success.

Experience in university admissions, academic counseling, or international education.

Proven ability to work closely with families and manage expectations with clarity and empathy.

Solid understanding of UK pathways (A Levels / UCAS); US admissions knowledge is an advantage.

Excellent communication, organisation, and coordination skills.

Fluent or native English (Portuguese is a plus).
