User Experience Researcher Trainee
Job Description

As a User Experience Researcher trainee, you will use and develop your knowledge of methodologies and perspectives of social science research as it applies to digital product design. You will support
- functional team members to define, plan, execute, and report on research activities. You will leverage mixed methods approaches to understand and extract meaningful patterns of user behavior and attitudes. Your work will generate user experience insights that will make a meaningful impact on our products in areas such as security, analytics, network monitoring and operations. Position: Internship
Duration: 12 months
Start Date (tentative): July, 2025
Location: Hybrid in Amadora, Portugal
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in User Experience Design, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Bring knowledge of methodology and practices of social science research to design and research projects
- Support
- functional team members and product functions to set research objectives and key metrics - Support and conduct empirical research to understand and extract meaningful patterns of user behaviour
- Generate user experience insights that will move our products forward
- Experience moderating qualitative research
You have:
- An enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration with designers, engineers, developers, and product teams
- An empathetic and analytical approach to
- centered research - Experience in compiling and analyzing qualitative data
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Miro, UX Tweak and Jira
- Experience designing complex B2B enterprise applications
