Porto - International Project - Fixed-Term Contract (6 months initially)

Are you ready to be part of a challenging global project in a risk department?

We're looking for an analyst with an analytical mind and collaborative spirit who enjoys working with market data, internal tools, and international teams.

Main Responsibilities:

The analyst will intervene on risk factors and market data across FX, Equity, Rates and Credit asset classes, and will actively:

• Analyse all MDM market data inconsistencies detected by PPSM tool, identifying and implementing any actions required for their correction;
• Support Market data hub team in leveraging on PPSM for streamlining its daily market data certification tasks and weekly/monthly monitoring processes;
• Collaborate with multiple departments/clients (IT Risk, Project Management, CCA, Front office, ERM, etc. ) on a daily basis;
• Prepare reports and presentations of the project’s results for senior management;
• Propose other actions/initiatives aiming to maintain an efficient and clean market data framework.

We are looking for someone with:

Higher education in computer science, data science, or finance

Proficient in Python and SQL

Experience in data manipulation and visualization

Solid knowledge of financial products: interest rates, foreign exchange, stocks, credit, etc.

Experience (or strong interest) in the financial sector

Fluency in English (essential for the international environment)

We also value:

Knowledge of data APIs

Experience with tools such as Summit, Sophis, Polypaths, and Murex

Strong communication skills with technical and
- technical stakeholders

Willingness to learn and grow in a demanding yet collaborative environment

Contractual Conditions:

Permanent contract (initially expected to last 6 months)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Base salary + Daily meal allowance
