We are hiring: Valuation Analyst (m/f)
Location: Porto | Market Risk Department

We are strengthening our competence center with a Valuation Analyst who is motivated by technical challenges and the pursuit of high‑quality market data.

About the role
As a Valuation Analyst, you will work daily on the analysis, certification and validation of market data across various asset classes (Equity, Rates, FX and Credit).
You will play a key role in supporting critical processes, collaborating with international teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of globally used tools.

Key responsibilities

Participate in the migration of the Yield Curve setup to the Murex system, creating new market data structures and functional specifications.
Support the Market Data certification process through consistency, quality and convergence analysis.
Collaborate with multiple internal teams, including Front Office, Econometrics, IT Risk and Risk Control.
Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the Market Data framework.


What we’re looking for

University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Engineering or related areas.
Strong command of Python and SQL, with experience in data manipulation and visualization.
Knowledge of financial products and risk factors (interest rates, FX, credit, equities, commodities).
Previous experience in the financial sector is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills, initiative and eagerness to learn.
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
Fluency in English (mandatory).
Knowledge of systems such as Murex, Summit, Sophis or Polypaths is an advantage.

Outsourcing Employment Contract
Hybrid working arrangement: 8 mandatory days in the office
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
