About The Role

1. Our VAT & Tax team, composed of 5 people, is integrated into the Finance department and focuses on VAT and Indirect Tax.
2. As a VAT & Tax Trainee, you will work in a multinational environment and contribute to the compliance of the Solvay Group.
3. You will be accountable for:
   1. Managing/supporting VAT corrections;
   2. Checking VAT invoice requirements;
   3. Supporting the preparation and filing of VAT, Intrastat returns, and EC-Sales Lists (Europe);
   4. Supporting VAT audits (internal and external);
   5. Supporting the reconciliation of VAT accounts.
4. We offer a 12-month internship contract with a hybrid working mode.

About You

1. Relevant education degree or equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Economics, or Finance with Tax specialization.
2. Competencies:
   1. Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus);
   2. Good communication skills.

1. Competitive pay within a range: Portugal's base pay for this role is €940 to €1040 per month, based on your academic background.
