Responsibilities
- Validate client data using in‑house software and confirm VAT amounts due with the support of Client Services Representatives & Senior Representatives.
- Create accurate VAT returns and supporting documentation for clients.
- Ensure all data is accurate and returns are submitted within strict deadlines.
- Interact directly with Sovos clients, providing service delivery and issue resolution while nurturing strong relationships.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve client issues, coordinating with internal departments to provide timely solutions.
- Collaborate efficiently with specialist departments to meet all deadlines.
- Attend client meetings as appropriate.
- Maintain progress toward goals and key measures to align with desired business outcomes for clients.
- Adhere to internal policies and procedures based on established guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- 1+ year of client service‑related experience; accounting or finance background is a strong plus.
- MS Office Excel proficiency (mandatory).
- Excellent customer service skills and a confident telephone manner.
- Strong time‑management, decision‑making, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and cross‑functionally.
- Detail oriented and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
